2022 MANHOLE INSPECTIONS AND ASSESSMENT

Description: The City of Dunn contracted with Vision NC to perform 250 manhole scans and inspections. Vision NC and City staff prioritized areas for manhole inspections based on previous study data and legacy data. Areas with heavy I&I and aging areas with limited condition data were selected for inspection. Manholes were scanned using our Ibak Panoramo SI system. The field data was reviewed in the office, and the final inspection was generated by a NASSCO MACP technician using Pipelogix software. Additionally, the project's progress and results were tracked using Arc GIS online maps. The manhole data and repair recommendations have been incorporated into the City's ongoing Capital Improvement Plan to restore its sewer system.
