Scott Hamre
President
Scott has been in the sewer industry in central North Carolina for over 20 years. Before founding Vision NC, he owned and operated a local manhole coring and wet tap business. Scott envisioned offering pipe cleaning and video inspection services to contractors and municipalities in an expanding Triangle market. To that end, Scott co-founded and has built Vision NC into a trusted industry partner with multiple crews and expanded services committed to providing quality services. Scott ensures that Vision NC provides top-tier resources to deliver excellence in workmanship and data to all clients.
Brian Hicks
Vice President
Brian's extensive background in the utilities and construction industry began when he worked at a family-owned utility company, installing piping in new developments around the Triangle area. In 2004, he teamed with Scott and became co-owner of Vision NC. Brian's focus is on operations and equipment development. Brian has a unique skill set for problem-solving and innovation at an operations level, on the ground, and in the field.
Brandon Sykes, PE
Vice President
Brandon's industry experience has been primarily dedicated to assisting municipal clients with sewer collection system evaluations and replacement solutions. His expertise includes sewer system evaluation planning, condition assessment, trenchless pipeline renewal technologies, inflow/infiltration identification and analysis, and flow monitoring. He leads the company's focus on municipal clients to provide them with sustainable and reliable pipeline inspection, evaluation, and renewal services. Clients rely on Brandon for his approachable nature and innovative ideas.
Eddie Brogden
Data Manager
Throughout his 12-year career at Vision NC, Eddie has grown into an expert in utilizing various CCTV software platforms and defect coding, CCTV equipment, and troubleshooting camera system issues. He is also familiar with evolving cloud data delivery and synchronization processes required by many local municipalities. Eddie is NASSCO PACP-certified and processes data deliverables with varying complexity. Beyond the technical nature of his role, Eddie is an integral part of the fabric of Vision NC. He is a performance-driven manager with a keen talent for the organization. When he's not busy compiling and analyzing data, you can find Eddie overseeing the day-to-day operations and resolving technical equipment issues at Vision NC.
Kyle Chappell
Field Operations Coordinator
Kyle has been with Vision NC for over 15 years and began as one of the original cleaning/CCTV crews. His knowledge of Vision NC's process and best practices are extensive, as he started as a vacuum truck operator and is currently in charge of field operations. Previously serving as a law enforcement officer, Kyle's leadership skills and professionalism are evident in his current role at Vision NC.
Allen Coats
Field Supervisor
Allen was Vision NC's first employee and has been with the company for over 17 years. His understanding of all our equipment and procedures is an asset in his role as Field Supervisor, assisting the crews with day-to-day needs and ensuring smooth project progress. From his years of field experience, Allen is adept at making necessary changes in equipment on-site, addressing personnel schedule changes, and providing general solutions to unexpected challenges that may arise during daily activities.
