Big Branch Outfall Cleaning and Video Inspection

Description: Approximately 4,000 LF of the Big Branch Outfall was identified for evaluation and rehabilitation. Vision NC served as a sub-consultant to the prime engineering firm to provide cleaning and video inspection of all lines. Access for cleaning and video inspection equipment was challenging. The outfall traverses Big Branch Creek in an easement behind residential houses and crosses underneath I-440 and St. Albans Road. Vision NC performed an assessment-level video inspection on the outfall totaling approximately 4,000 LF of 12-inch to 21-inch sewer main. Video inspection was collected according to NASSCO PACP standards
