KELLY ROAD EMERGENCY 8-INCH CIPP LINER

Description: A routine video inspection by Town staff identified a failing ductile iron sewer main underneath Kelly Road. Kelly Road is a critical thoroughfare for local traffic on the edge of the Town. The ductile iron sewer main was failing due to prolonged exposure to hydrogen sulfide gas. The top of the pipe was paper-thin due to the gas corrosion. Vision NC restored the main with a CIPP liner in less than one day. Our compact setup allowed Kelly Road and the school's sidewalk to remain open with little disruption to daily activity.
