2022 Storm Drain CCTV and Inventory

Description: Vision NC assisted the Town of Fuquay-Varina with a storm drain CCTV and cleaning project. The project area was located downtown Fuquay-Varina along Main Street and connecting side streets. The mapping was incomplete in this area. During Vision NC's CCTV inspection, Town staff adjusted structure locations and updated the existing mapping using ArcPro field applications. Approximately 6,600 LF of various diameter piping was video inspected and mapped as part of this project. The project area was through the heart of downtown in high traffic and dense retail district. Heavy cleaning was required to remove heavy debris to access CCTV equipment. Pipe inspections were performed using ITPipes NASSCO PACP-compliant software. Condition and inventory data were used to prioritize the storm drain piping for future repairs and improvements.
